ASUS Joins the E-Reader Frenzy and Then Some

At CES 2010, it seemed like everyone had an ereader in their playing hand. But now Asus upped the ante by adding to their arsenal (yes, they have several models planned for 2010)the  DR-570 e-book reader. It boasts great features and awe-inspiring battery life.

According to ZDNET, the Asus DR-570 will host a 6-inch OLED color touchscreen display, plus Flash playback, 3G and Wi-Fi and if that is not enough, it is purportedly  able to run 122 hours on a single battery charge.

Expected out not until late 2010 we do not know the cost but with it’s purported features it may be a bit pricey.

At this point would you wait for the features of the DR-750 or the mysterious “iTablet”, would you rather go for one of the other of the dozens already released readers like th Kindle or are you not impressed by e-readers at all?
