Yesterday, Chinese Authorities blocked internet access to all social networking sites including Twitter, Flickr,Bing, Live.com, Hotmail.com and several other sites such as WordPress, YouTube, Blogger This seems to be a means of quieting dissent (which has been intensified with access to the internet)near the June 4th 20th Anniversary of the Tiananmen massacre. Windows 7 to launch October 22; RTM next month | Ed Bott’s Microsoft Report | ZDNet.com. A Microsoft spokesperson just confirmed for me the news I first read a few minutes ago in a story by Ina Fried of CNET News. The official date on which Windows 7 will be available for general purchase is October 22, 2009. The RTM code will be delivered to partners at the end of July. In addition, Microsoft has confirmed its plans to make an upgrade option available for PC makers to offer customers who purchase a new PC with Windows Vista between the beginning of the “Tech Guarantee” period and the general-availability date. From launching rockets in your house or taking away ladders in the pool, there were countless of ways for players to play Satan and destroy their sims lives. On the other hand of course you can raise your family to be married and have kids and live good lives but that’s no fun and that’s lots of fun. Now, the newest installment of the sims is on it’s way and well…It looks brilliant. Besides the fact that you can control the lives of programmed humans on your computer, the Sims has always been the game everyone has had to had. From the ten year old kid to the forty year old housewife, thousands have had fun with Sims and Sims 2. Microsoft unveiled plans for its new mega search engine, Bing! which they prefer to call call a “decision engine” on May 28 at All Things Digital or the Wall Street Journal’s D7 conference in carlsbad, California. Deployment is expected by June 3. It appears to be very much like previous versions of Live Search with shopping, travel, health and local search categories. “Farecast” is now “Bing Travel” ” Virtual Earth” becomes a “Virtual Earth Maps” section. Microsoft is planning to spend somewhere between $80 million and $100 million in advertising for the Bing campaign, although Steve Ballmer tended to lowball this estimate in speaking with Walt Mossberg at the conference. One notable and questionable faction of Bing is it’s integration of content from other sites directly into it. “How about all these people that expect to make money off their Web sites,” Mossberg asks. “Were not trying to get in the way of copyright holders,” Ballmer said. “We’re not trying to live off other people’s work. We are just trying to make a good product.” Ballmer notes some of different ways content gets there. Some is licensed he said, other is what can be crawled “under copyright law.” “We license content to be in here,” Ballmer said. “That’s a way to do it.” We shall see about that. As well as the fact that some of the features...

New in this version of Chrome is the F11 key to toggle full screen mode, which drops all hints of the browser frame except for the scroll bars–but only if they’re appearing on that site in standard mode. There’s also a new form autofill under Options in the Tools menu, and users can selectively remove thumbnails from the New Tab landing page. In additon, Chrome has an even faster Javascript handling engine. I have been using this update for a little whille, and all in all, it’s pretty nice! Download it for yourself at Download.com right...
