Google Buzz-Is it the Social Media Champion?
.Google Buzz is out today. Its features are pretty darn cool. I have just been trying it out and it is easy to use, has a mobile app and is fully integrated with my other google offerings. There is a link right at the top of the list in my GMail. As of this writing the mobile app on my iphone is a little quirky,(that is to say, it isn’t working at all. Perhaps this is due to the blizzard we are experiencing here on the East Coast. Hmm…
The Buzz looks more like Facebook than Twitter, with Likes, dislikes and the ability to respond directly to a posting and have other people see it. Whatever happened to Google Wave? Here is the weird part (or maybe not so weird since google seems to read your mind or at least your internet stuff) When I posted about our new web page and was thinking about uploading a picture of it, a icture popped up of my site and buzz asked ,e if I ewasnted to use it.
Here are two videos which were posted on the Google Blog that explain the features:

Buzz’s key features seem to be:
• Automatic friends lists (friends are added automatically who you have emailed on Gmail)
• “Rich fast sharing” combines sources like Picasa and Twitter into a single feed, and it includes full-sized photo browsing
• Public and private sharing (swap between family and friends)
• Inbox integration (instead of emailing you with updates, like Facebook might, Buzz features emails that update dynamically with all Buzz thread content, like the photo viewer we mentioned above)
• “Recommended Buzz” puts friend-of-friend content into your stream, even if you’re not acquainted. Recommendations learn over time with your feedback.
•When someone makes a new comment in reply to an old Buzz, it bumps that entire Buzz up to the top.
