Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2a "Coming Soon" to USA!
I have some very exciting news coming out of CES today – the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 will be coming soon to the USA! On Sony Style, the product can be found on the front of the Sony Ericsson Mobile Phones section. When clicked on you get taken to its dedicated product page, where on the right it is listed as “Coming Soon” and there is a “Notify Me” option, which sends you an email when the product is availiable. This is very exciting news, as the XPERIA X2 is the latest and greatest smartphone in the world. It takes all of the features of the extravagant X1 and only improves upon them!
Features include a 3.2″ 800×480 touchscreen, quad band GSM with support for AT&T 3G, unique Panels interface, full QWERTY keyboard, and a video-output feature. All of these features combine to make the ultimate device in the convergence of media and business. Running Windows Mobile 6.5, the X2 is truly a smartphone. With Windows Mobile comes all of the great software features, such as Microsoft Office Mobile with Powerpoint, Excel, Word, and Onenote. Most impotantly for enterprise users, Windows Mobile has Microsoft Exchange Server built in for the best Email expierience. Son Ericsson’s own Panels UI is very intuitive and imporved uopn over the X1’s Panels system. In the X2 there are many more Panels availiable, as well as the ability to automatically set different Panels for different times of the day.
It will be interesting to see when it has a release date and what the price will be. When the X1a was launched it was $799, so I wouldn’t expect the X2a to be less. Hey, maybe Sony Ericsson will surprise me and price it reasonably?
