Three Great New Apps for Iphone this Month!
October seems to be a great month for releasing some cool apps for iPhone.
Get Ready to Rock, with Rock Band on the iPhone.
EA Mobile recently announced that the ever popular Rock Band, who rules almost every gaming platform, will soon make an appearance at the App Store.
Band for the iPhone will allow you to play solo or with friends via the Bluetooth multiplayer features introduced with the iPhone 3.0 software update. EA is planning to make this the first iPhone game with a true multiplayer-experience while playing with up to four bandmates.
Rock Band will also allow synching via Facebook and sending in-game messages to check band status or to form new bands. You can use iPhone’s push notification technology to allow you to invite friends to play.
The core game has 20 rock songs to master, including 30 Seconds to Mars, Blink-182, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Motorhead, The Pixies, Rise Against, and the Smashing Pumpkins. Additional songs can be bought through an in-game Music Store.
Free Photoshop Mobile for the iPhone
iPhone Mobile Betawas launched the other day with photo editing options using both photos stores in the camera roll or by taking a photo right from the app. It is synced with cloud storage giving 2GB of storage FREE! Nifty app features include rotating, cropping, using filter effects, and adjusting exposure, tint and saturation. Once uploaded your photos can be touched up with even more online options.
You can organize your photos into albums, view them anywhere and create a Mobile Shared album right from your phone to show the everyone, or just invite friends and family to view your photos online from Photoshop.com. You can link to or embed photos as well.
Now granted, the iPhone only has 3 MegaPixel Camera on board but I have been having a ball applying effects and enhancing and cropping photos with many of the same options found in my very pricey Photoshop full version.
New Tweetie 2 Flies Onto the iPhone
Many have long been awaiting the release of Tweetie 2. Now it is here and totally revamped and with a 3 dollar price tag. However I do not think present tweetie users will mind paying this price for the upgrade. The application is lightning fast. And, for someone like me with multiple twitter accounts it lends seamless integration.
Other features include a nearby map view, and a new offline mode that enables Twitterers without internet access to read, tweet, follow, and favorite tweets.but it remembers your exact place in the app, and you can bookmark, follow block or Instapaper while offline. All of it’s just synced when you go online.
There’s also drafts manager, live filtering, push notifications (down to the specific user level) and this is killer—the ability to link up people you follow to contacts in your Address Book, plus a dropdown to pick people to @reply.
